Crystals in home decor
Over the last couple years I’ve been intentional to include crystals in home decor to add peace to my place. I love crystals, collected them in my youth, and recently revived this passion in an effort to reconnect with activities that brought me joy as a child. Beyond the sheer beauty of crystals, I’m learning about their healing properties. Here are my favorite crystals to incorporate in home decor and where to use them.
Amethyst:
Encourages transformation, protection, and rest. Amethyst is great in living rooms to enhance communication and relaxation or bedrooms to support calm sleep and peaceful dreams. I like using amethyst as a coffee table accessory on a stack of books, or for contrast and texture in faux succulent arrangements.
Celestite:
Encourages calm, intuition, and serendipity. Use celestite in bedrooms for calm and peaceful dreams or in bathrooms for self-care and health. Celestite is beautiful as part of a nightstand vignette or as a shelf-styling accessory.
Citrine:
Encourages energy, goal setting, luck, and creativity. Citrine is the perfect choice for offices to enhance focus and productivity. Display near your workspace on a tray with a framed photo and plant.
Selenite:
Encourages cleansing and clearing energies. Selenite is one of the most versatile crystals in both application and appearance. It can be used in kitchens for healthy choices and willpower, living and dining rooms for communication and relaxation, and bathrooms for self-care and health. Clear quartz:
Encourages transformation, clarity, and healing. Another highly versatile crystal, use clear quartz alongside other crystals to amplify their effects. Clear quartz looks great when paired with other accessories, and larger specimens can stand on their own as a focal point.
Beautiful and beneficial, crystals are my favorite accessory to incorporate in home decor.
I used “Crystals The Modern Guide to Crystal Healing” to educate myself on crystals and their properties. Full of great info and also beautiful to look at, the mini coffee table book lives on my bedside table or desk.
