Favorite green paint colors
The color green had a big moment in 2025 interiors. From kitchen cabinets to bedrooms, we love how green brings a sense of calm, renewal, and reconnects us with nature. The perfect shade of green can completely transform a space. Read on for our favorite green paint colors.
INSPIRATION FROM OUR PROJECTS:
Studio Green by Farrow & Ball in our Heights Industrial Kitchen.
Our client already knew she wanted this deep, dark green in her kitchen and mudroom, but was concerned it would be too dark. We used a complementary neutral quartzite countertop, zellige backsplash, lighter woods, and brass accents to keep the kitchen and mudroom feeling light and balanced. We love using this nearly black green for cabinetry and in jewel box spaces.
Weekend Upstate by Backdrop in our Grogans Point Modern Eclectic.
This dark, dusty green with strong blue undertones was a perfect match for the stunning green quartzite our client selected. We love the monochromatic look in this laundry room.
Shelter by Portola Paints in our Alden Bridge Organic Modern.
Shelter may be the perfect warm, mossy olive green. The lime wash finish in this primary bedroom adds the perfect amount of texture, and is one of my favorite applications because lime wash is completely non-toxic.
Evergreen Fog by Sherwin Williams in our Alden Bridge Organic Modern.
This beautiful, gentle green adds the perfect calm to this precious nursery. We love using Evergreen Fog on cabinetry and built-ins, but it’s neutral enough to work equally well in any space.
